Board Profile

An investor's discipline.
A chair's perspective.

Steve Bickerton is a commercial Board Chair, Non-Executive Director and global infrastructure investor who has spent his career on both sides of the boardroom table: allocating the capital, and governing the businesses it builds.

As Founder and Senior Managing Director of Prostar Capital, Steve established a global infrastructure investment platform, led international fundraising and assembled a portfolio of strategic energy infrastructure assets across the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean. Before Prostar, he was Chief Executive of the ASX-listed Challenger Infrastructure Fund, leading investment strategy, governance and institutional investor engagement across energy, utilities and transport.

Today he chairs the Fujairah Oil Terminal in the United Arab Emirates and sits on boards in South Korea, the Caribbean and Australia. He brings deep expertise in governance, investment oversight, risk, capital allocation and stakeholder engagement to boards navigating complex, regulated and capital-intensive environments.
